Prosecution
The soldiers were sent back to Pskov after their refusal to work. Most of them have now been fired, and some face criminal charges, the medium reported on Telegram. “The soldiers and their families are standing firm,” the news organization writes on Telegram. Meanwhile, even the Russian Defense Minister, Sergei Shoigu, is said to be interfering. He has sent a senior official to Pskov to put things in order.
It is not the first time that Russian troops have refused to fight in the Russian army. Previously, troops from the National Guard and the marines, among others, refused to fight for Putin.
