Cyclist Dylan Groenewegen has ridden his first race for his new team Team BikeExchange. In the Saudi Tour he finished only twelfth in the bunch sprint.
“We cannot be satisfied with this result. We have to learn from it and do it better in the next stages, because we want to win. We have more opportunities in the coming days and will do everything necessary,” the Amsterdammer told cycling flash.
Dylan Groenwegen left Jumbo Visma this winter. At TeamBike Exchange he sees more sporting prospects as a top sprinter.
The first stage in the Saudi Tour was won by Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan followed by Martin Laas and Fernando Gaviria.
