The time has come! Allbirds has revised their most popular model and is launching the new DASHER 2! This evolution ensures that jogging is even more pleasant and that nature wins: a running shoe with cushioning that is versatile and offers comfort all day long without harming the environment. The interaction of FSC-certified eucalyptus material, SweetFoam® obtained from sugar cane, natural rubber and castor oil ensures that the CO2 footprint is reduced by half compared to a sports shoe made of conventional and plastic-based materials.
The Dasher 2 is characterized by an even better mileage, with lower carbon emissions of 10.7 kg CO2e. It offers more traction, is more cushioned with a better SweetFoam® sole and offers additional reflectivity for dawn and dusk runs. The shoe was tested by 100 runners over 1930 km and was rated as the absolute best performance for people and the environment. The new Dasher 2 thus represents a more natural way of breaking a sweat and sets the carbon footprint of all products to 0, making Allbirds carbon neutral.
