Lasagna sheets are used to be replaced with, for example, zucchini or red cabbage, but here’s a new tip for you.

Food influencer Mari Moilanen put dried bread in his lasagna.

– I have to admit that we have the most waste from bread, and you can always think of what you can come up with, Moilanen admits.

Bread lasagna was born to solve an everyday problem.

– That it was good!

Moilanen advises that, in addition to Patong, other light breads are suitable for lasagna.

Bread lasagna

(for 4 people)

1 kg ready-made tomato sauce

3/4–1 (about 300 g) dried baguettes

2 dl chicken broth

200 g Parmesan

2 pkt (a 125 g) buffalo mozzarella

1 pot of basil

1. Slice the dried baguette into pieces. Grate parmesan and slice mozzarella.

2. Spread tomato sauce on the bottom of the baking dish. Put a layer of baguette on top. Moisten baguettes with chicken broth. Sprinkle a layer of parmesan and buffalo mozzarella on top. Repeat three times. Finally, spread a generous amount of tomato sauce, Parmesan and mozzarella on the surface.

3. Bake at 200 degrees for about half an hour until the surface of the lasagna is slightly browned.
