After the separation from Marco Rose, Edin Terzic is currently the hottest candidate for coaching at Borussia Dortmund. But the alleged Rose successor is said to have aroused interest elsewhere.

Terzic took over BVB in the 2020/21 season in December after Lucien Favre had been sacked. With a strong points average of two points per game, he leads Westphalia from fifth place into the Champions League. On top of that, the native of Menden won the DFB Cup with Borussia.
After the season, he had made way for Rose last summer and returned to the second link. However, BVB played a very unstable season under the former Gladbacher. The second place in the Bundesliga was opposed to the early exit from the Champions League and the DFB Cup.
On Friday, after a comprehensive analysis of the season, those involved pulled the ripcord. According to media reports, managing director Hans-Joachim Watzke is said to have been the driving force behind the separation. Rose himself is said to have expressed doubts about the usefulness of further cooperation at the end of the talks.
