Chess Grandmaster Daniel Naroditsky has died at only 29 years old. Narodistky’s family and the International Chess Federation shared the sad news on Monday on social media.
According to the family, Naroditsky died unexpectedly.
– Daniel was a talented chess player, commentator, trainer and beloved member of the chess community. He was appreciated by both fans and players around the world. He was also a loving son and brother and loyal friend, family to many wrote in his announcement.
Father taught Naroditsky from the United States to play chess when he was only six years old. Naroditsky received the title of grandmaster at the age of 18.
