Stijn De Zaeytijd, who was already responsible for the communication for the race organization, will become the new chairman of the organizing committee behind the GP Monseré. The first edition was in 2012, in memory of the Roeselare world champion Jean-Pierre Monseré.
With new contracts, the race now secures the future: the GP Monseré will start in Ichtegem until 2028, and the race will even arrive in Roeselare until 2031.
There is also a new date: March 22, 2026. This should provide more opportunities to bring riders to the starting line.
