Government parties put “substantial reform” of parliamentary status on the table: pensions are slimmed down

The five majority parties (N-VA, MR, Les Engagés, Vooruit and CD&V) will put a number of reforms of parliamentary status on the table tomorrow. The retirement allowance and the holiday pay are greatly reduced and the indexation of pensions must keep pace with the rest of the population. There will also be consultation with the other parliaments.
