On 25 March, consultations will take place in Düsseldorf between delegations of the governments of the Netherlands and the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. These government consultations, which take place for the third time, are dominated by, among other things, strengthening and deepening strategic cooperation in bilateral and European sites.

After receiving the Dutch delegation on the Staatskanzlei by Prime Minister Wüst and a delegation from the North Rhine-Westphalian government, various bilateral conversations follow.

Both ministers presidents will speak, among other things, about competitiveness, European defense and migration.
Following the bilateral conversations, a joint statement is signed on the Staatskanzlei, after which the government consultation is concluded with a work dinner.

In addition to Prime Minister Schoof and Prime Minister Wüst participates on the Dutch side: Minister Hermans (Climate and Green Growth), Minister Beljaarts (Economic Affairs), State Secretary Jansen (Infrastructure and Water Management), Minister Uitermark (Interior and Kingdom Relations) and Minister of Hijum (Social Affairs and Employment).
