The little one runs through her zoo enclosure with big eyes. Sees a flower and plucks it in fascination.
Then gorilla girl Tilla proudly holds up her discovery as if to say, “Look, dad! That’s a daisy!’
Tilla was born in February 2021 – and thus the first gorilla offspring in the Zoo Berlin for 16 years.
At first, the mini monkey only explored the enclosure clinging to Mama Bibi’s (25) belly, later also on Papa Sango’s (17) back. meanwhile is Tilla quite independently.

But the little one is still suckling. Gorillas usually do not wean until they are four to five years old.
