Bayern professional Leon Goretzka suffered an injury against SC Freiburg at the Bayern Munich Bayern. The 29-year-old had to be replaced at the end of the first half. In the evening, however, he contacted his fans with a positive news.
After a sprint in a duel with Nicolas Höfler, Goretzka injured himself on the rear left thigh, reported “Sky”. He stayed on the lawn before leaving the field independently a little later, albeit limping. Trainer Vincent Kompany reacted and brought Josip Stanisic for the midfielder in the 41st minute. The Croatian celebrated its Bundesliga Saisond debut after it failed for five months with an outdoor tape tear in the right knee.
In the evening, Goretzka gave the all -clear via Instagram. With a picture of himself and teammate Harry Kane, he wrote: “Luckily my injury is nothing serious! Back Son” – in German: “Fortunately, my injury is nothing back!
According to Sky, a first MRI examination showed that a muscle fiber tear can be excluded. Nevertheless, Goretzka will be missing in the Champions League game against Slovan Bratislava on Wednesday-but not because of the injury, but because of a yellow lock.
