Gordon jumps into the breach for Paul de Leeuw after Johan Derksen’s harsh sneer at him. “He shouldn’t worry about that pissy mustache and do what he does best.”
According to Johan Derksen, it is sickening that Paul de Leeuw has made TV with the elderly with dementia. MAX, Jan Slagter’s broadcaster, is currently broadcasting a program in which the presenter travels with people with Alzheimer’s. The VI star thinks it’s scandalous. “I think it is such a dehumanizing program.”
What does Goor think?
What does Gordon think of that hard swipe? “The criticism of Paul by Johan Derksen is completely unjustified. He had the same criticism of me with the elderly and my programs with people with Down syndrome.”
He continues: “It is crazy to think that we as program makers ‘use’ vulnerable groups for our own glory.”
Whisker mustache
Gordon finds it ridiculous how Paul is put away by Johan. “I know Paul as a person of great integrity, he is the last person who would do something like that.”
The Radio 10 presenter concludes: “It is an eternal shame that partly because of that narrow-minded thought, my program Down the Road has been criticized in the Netherlands, while it is adored in Belgium! Paul should not worry about that whining mustache and do what he does best.”
