Gordon denies that he quarreled with Gert Verhulst and Samantha Steenwijk behind the scenes of K2 Searches K3. “It’s just really made up,” the SBS 6 presenter said.

Around the turn of the year, De Story went big with a story about the working atmosphere behind the scenes of the TV talent show K2 Searches K3. Gordon is said to have misbehaved and had made a ‘smashing argument’ with his fellow jury members Gert Verhulst and Samantha Steenwijk. “Gordon ran away insults.”

‘That’s not right!’

What nonsense, Gordon now responds in the new talk show buzz, which by the way seems to have been recorded a while ago. “This week I read something again that I was arguing with everyone behind the scenes of K2 Searches K3. It’s just really made up, but I’m not going to argue with it anymore.”

The Story of editor-in-chief Guido den Aantrekker simply makes up such a story, Gordon explains. “The Story is not a juice channel, but to indicate that you can just put everything in a magazine about my quarrel with Samantha Steenwijk and Gert from Studio 100… That just doesn’t make sense at all.”

‘This is harmful’

Gordon thinks that the Story is very careless from a journalistic point of view. “Then you really haven’t done your job well. Then you didn’t call my management, then you didn’t talk to me. It’s just really not true. That is harmful. You really have to watch out for that.”

The coverage of show media is anyway something that annoys Gordon very much. Isn’t he also looking for that a bit himself? “It’s a very difficult story… Of course you do things wrong yourself. Some things you shouldn’t have posted, but Beau said last week: ‘Shouldn’t you just stop with that social media?’”

Gordon doesn’t stop

Gordon is not going to respond to that. “Then I think: yes, that is again a restriction of my freedom! A limitation of my freedom of expression, because I want to show that I am happy with my dogs, happy with my life, happy with my choice.”

“Maybe it’s better not to, but why limit myself to that? That’s nonsense, isn’t it?”
