Goodfellas actor Ray Liotta (67) passed away | Stars

Liotta was filming in the Dominican Republic for the new movie Dangerous waters† The recordings for the series black bird starring the actor, which has been announced to premiere on AppleTV in July, have already been completed.

The actor was nominated for a Golden Globe in his career and he won one Emmy Award. He starred in the movies, among other things Something Wild (1986), goodfellas (1990), Cop Land (1997) and Hannibal (2001).

Liotta was adopted by a Scottish-Italian couple when he was a baby. In 2000, he had his biological mother traced by a private detective, after which it turned out that he mainly had a Scottish background.

The actor leaves behind a daughter, Karsen Liotta, 23, who he had with actress/producer Michelle Grace. She is also an actress, and previously thanked her father on social media “for everything he taught her.” In the meantime, the statements of support to her address are pouring in.

Liotta had been engaged to Jacy Nittolo since Christmas Day 2020. According to American media, she would have traveled with him to the Dominican Republic.
