GOMOS settles late with closing, Germanicus drops to ninth place

FOOTBALL – GOMOS has settled with last goalkeeper Noordster in the 1st class F with three late goals. As a result, the team from Norg climbs to sixth place in the standings. Germanicus got no further than a 2-2 draw against Jubbega and therefore drops to ninth position.

Despite the fact that Noordster is last in the 1st class F, the team kept GOMOS away for a long time. Jannes Siegers did not open the score for the home team until the 77th minute. An own goal by Noordster ended the game. In the 89th minute of the game Jeffrey Krul decided the final score of 3-0 for the team from Norg.

Germanicus got off to a strong start and after fifteen minutes of play, the team from Coevorden scored 0-1 with a goal from Milan van der Weide. Fifteen minutes later Marco Cremer doubled the lead to 0-2. For a long time nothing seemed wrong until Jubbega captain Dennis de Haan scored the connecting goal. With five minutes to play, Jacco Kuiper equalized. As a result, there was no more than a point for André Mulder’s team.

For example, the team that fought for the title a few weeks ago is now in ninth place in the 1st division F with 25 points from 19 games.
