Johannes Golla and Alina Grijseels are the “Handball Players of the Year 2022”.
The 25-year-old from SG Flensburg-Handewitt and the 26-year-old from Borussia Dortmund prevailed in the public vote of the specialist magazine “Handballwoche”.
Behind the two team captains of the German national teams, Niklas Landin (THW Kiel) and Juri Knorr (Rhein-Neckar Löwen) as well as Emily Bölk (FTC Budapest) and Xenia Smits (SG BBM Bietigheim) occupied the other places.
The election has been carried out by the “Handball Week” since 1978.
