Golfstroom can already stop by 2055 in the event of a drastic climate action

A turning point in the climate may be much closer than investigating so far. Scientists from Utrecht University see in their climate model that the Gulf Stream can already reach a critical turning point in the 60s of this century if the emissions of greenhouse gases are not drastically reduced.
