In Bochum, the local 3×3 basketball teams of women played into a real gold rush. After the success in a wheelchair competition with a 12:11 (10:10) final victory against Spain after extra time, Paris winner Elisa Mevius and her three teammates prevailed in the final of the Olympic variant with 21:15 against China.

The water jumpers, who have been able to celebrate three victories so far, also delivered medals in Berlin at the tower. The synchronous jumpers Jaden Eikermann/Luis Carlo Avila Sanchez won silver, and Pauline Pfeif won bronze in individual jumping. Supharada Kisskalt meanwhile only had to admit defeat in the 49 kg class in the Taekwondo competitions in Essen.
