God of War Ragnarok out in September? Two clues prove it

God of War Ragnarok classified in South Korea, merchandise that comes from England … and something that moves at Sony.

If in recent weeks the fans have been a bit burned by the postponement of Starfield and Redfall, which seemed to open up to a new season of slips in the gaming field, it would seem that God of War Ragnarok is not destined to suffer the same fate. In fact, two clues that appeared on the net in the morning suggest that the title for PS4 and PS5 can actually respect the estimated launch window, officially, for 2022.

The first clue –

The first clue of the day is the South Korean classification of God of War Ragnarok, which appeared on the web just this morning. The Game Rating and Administration Committee, the body responsible for evaluating video games by age in the country, has expressed its opinion and this generally anticipates the actual release of a product by a few months. As it relates VGCthe most recent case when it comes to titles for PlayStation consoles is that of Horizon Forbidden West: classified in November 2021 in South Korea, it was then released three months later and that is in February 2022. For the most curious, the classification in the Asian country is 18+the highest possible rating that does not allow minors to buy.

God of War Ragnarok in September? –

Something similar to the Horizon story could therefore also occur with God of War Ragnarok, especially if we consider the other clue of the day. As discovered by a user on Twitter, the British store Geeky Zone has kicked off the sale of themed merchandise with the new chapter of the Norse saga of Kratos – which will soon become a Prime Video series – for next September. September is a window that, in fact, fits perfectly or almost perfectly with the classification that came from South Korea, being just over three months from now. If so, the announcement could come within a few weeks, perhaps during one of the events scheduled for the summer or when Sony decides to hold its own showcase to replace the now defunct E3.
