The popular ‘Pelucas’ wrote a history of matches, goals and titles with the Barça shirt in heroic times

FC Barcelona had many problems to recover normality after the war, which ended in 1939 with the victory of fascism. Among the exiled and sanctioned players, the azulgrana team resumed activity with elements on loan and on trial. One of them, a 19-year-old man from León named César.
César, who came from the León Youth Front, He came to trial on the recommendation of ex-azulgrana Font and the journalist Francisco Subirán Moneo, who also acted as proxy. Barça, lacking in troops, he saw potential in Caesar and asked Subirán to tie him up immediately. Thus, in León, on July 20, César’s father, Bernardo Rodríguez, Subirán and the footballer signed a private contract in favor of FC Barcelona. Barça paid for his studies
Barça, likewise, undertook to cover the fees and books necessary for the player to study at the Industrial School of Barcelona.
