Goalkeeper Ronald Koeman remains loyal to Telstar

Ronald Koeman and Telstar have reached an agreement on a new contract. The goalie is now fixed until the summer of 2024, which means that Koeman will start his third season in Velsen-Zuid after the summer.

The goalkeeper made a total of 33 appearances in competition. “Koeman has grown into a solid closing post at Telstar,” said technical manager Peter Hofstede. “Last season he had to work weekly and he has shown strong development. With that knowledge it is a good thing that we can welcome Ronald again at the start of the new season.”

Telstar’s selection for next season is slowly taking shape. Last week, the Velsen club already agreed a contract extension with midfielder Tom Overtoom and the White Lions strengthened themselves with Youssef El Kachati, the top scorer in the second division.
