Christian Früchtl already has three championships in his vita, although he himself has not played a single Bundesliga game. In order to finally step out of the shadows of Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich as goalkeeper number three at FC Bayern, the young keeper is probably aiming for a change of club.

The 22-year-old is a native of FC Bayern, who can only look back on games for the second team in the 3rd league and regional league Bayern in the senior division.
Last season, Früchtl was also loaned out to 1. FC Nürnberg, where he also did not get beyond the status of substitute keeper.
The contract with FC Bayern runs until 2023
Früchtl still has a contract in Munich until 2023. However, a possible fee should not be too high due to the goalkeeper’s inexperience.
According to information from the broadcaster, the position of the third goalkeeper behind Manuel Neuer and Sven Ulreich should be filled with an internal solution. With Johannes Schenk and Lukas Schneller, two goalkeeper youngsters are available who have already played games for FC Bayern II in the regional league this season. Schneller recently extended his contract with the record champions until 2024 and is a true Munich resident.
It is not yet known where Früchtl could go in the future if he decides not to stay at Bayern. His lack of match practice does not necessarily make the search for an ambitious professional club easy.
In the current season, Früchtl was on the pitch twice in the fourth division, in 2020/2021 he had no competitive minutes at all.
