After all this time being vilified by the public, it must feel wonderful for Glennis Grace to be treated like a true VIP behind the scenes of the dinner shows where she currently performs. The singer has to start from scratch again, which is why she now sings Whitney Houston medleys while the audience is munching on their food.
Queen Glenda
The Jumbo riot has seriously affected Glennis’ status and that is the only reason why the makers of that dinner show were able to get her. She is treated like a kind of queen by producer Marc Forno, he revealed in conversation with the Party.
A journalist from the magazine asks him: “Glennis must have found it quite exciting to perform in front of a large group of people again. Could you support her in some way?”
Sweets and fruits
Marc does everything he can to make Glennis happy. “When Glennis comes in, I immediately get a call from the tour manager. I then wait for her at the door and give her one hug when she is there. I even take her to the dressing room, where there are always sweets and fruit.”
Sweets and fruit are among her dressing room requirements. “Glennis has very normal wishes. She likes tea with ginger, which I get for her. Glennis has now done a number of shows with us and you notice the difference. I thought she was a bit tense at the first show, but now she is completely relaxed.”
Again
Glennis has already had quite a few performances, says Marc. “I have been very busy with the Christmas show of dinner show Grandeur. We just had Glennis Grace as a guest artist there a few times. And she will come back again on January 20.”
