Glennis Grace gives Jumbo victims a kick: ‘This is inconvenient’

Glennis Grace causes a lot of irritation with a jolly video from a French supermarket. “It must be a joke, but whether it is all smart and sensible and handy…”

The controversial Glennis Grace (44) went on a road trip to France yesterday, where she is currently staying with fellow artist Anouk and backing singer Rob de Nijs (not the Rob de Nijs). The trio has several stories transferred to Instagram, including some from the French supermarket: of course not entirely coincidentally.

Supermarket upside down

Glennis places a movie on which they go through the supermarché races, as she recently did in the Intratuin. Moments later, the Whitney Houston impersonator makes a funny face at a fully loaded cash register. “Exemplary! ??”, writes Anouk.

RTL Boulevard star Luuk Ikink does not think it is very useful, as Glennis is still under fire for her serious misconduct in a Jumbo supermarket last February. “This is remarkable. Anouk is in France with Glennis Grace and they went to the supermarket. I think it ended up being quiet there if I saw it right.”

And Shownieuws face Dyantha Brooks: “Glennis once again turns a supermarket upside down.”

PR-technically clumsy

Dyantha means it funny. She genuinely thinks Glennis, Anouk and Rob are a nice travel group. “There is also a backing vocalist, I saw. Rob. This is really the company I am jealous of.”

Jealous of a trip with Glennis… What a bad taste. Why actually? Because then she imagines a cozy fireplace full of song. Colleague Bart Ettekoven cynically: “Well, if you like to sing by the campfire, then certainly.”

The new Shownieuws expert Victor Vlam then: “I wonder whether it is technically wise to record some funny video in a supermarket.”

Dyantha: “Maybe right? To take the sharp edges off.”

“Do you have her again!”

Victor, who thinks Shownieuws is much too mild about Glennis, responds: “Well, I don’t know. If I were working in that supermarket, I would also think to myself: Geez, there you have her again. It is of course something that sticks to her.”

Bart: “She doesn’t do it in the Netherlands, does she. She does it in France.”

Victor, who apparently received a slap on the wrist after his spectacular start at Shownieuws – since his attacks on Gordon, Glennis Grace and Wibi Soerjadi in his debut week, he has been sitting at the table remarkably quietly – then: “Yes, but it is still a convenience store.”

What does Glennis actually do in France? Bart: “It is a bit unclear what she is doing there with Anouk, but it is rumored that she may be at a writer’s camp there. Maybe the two are just enjoying a holiday. We know that Anouk has a house there, in the north of France.”

humble

Private boss Evert Sankrediets is also critical. “It’s probably a joke, but whether it’s all smart and sensible and handy… You could almost forget that she also just has to appear in court before too long. She seems to be making fun of the whole affair that has left her without work for months.”

“I think you just have to be a little humble. If you’ve caused such misery, you just have to calmly wait for your lawsuit and not scream through the supermarket in a trolley in France: look how nice I am. It doesn’t seem useful to me.”
