The A58 motorway was completely close to the Zoomland junction on Tuesday morning between Bergen op Zoom and Breda. After an accident a lot of glass and other mess had come on the road, a Rijkswaterstaat spokesperson said.
The traffic in the direction of Breda was able to detour via Rotterdam (A4, A59, A17). Rijkswaterstaat also reported that there is a so-called zoab-cleaner Was called to clean the road.
The glass and other junk landed on the road after two vehicles bumped together. No one was injured. All three lanes had to be closed.
Around eight o’clock only the right -hand lane was closed for all traffic. The road was released around half past eight, after which the extra time and the traffic jam quickly decreased.
The accident also had consequences for traffic on the A4. “Take into account a delay of half an hour and a traffic jam of 8 kilometers between the Markiezaat and Zoomland junctions,” Rijkswaterstaat warned around eight o’clock. There too, the problems were resolved after halfway.
