Four members of the Jovent Gironí entertainment group were expelled from the stadium by the Mossos d’Esquadra

There is no quiet game in Montilivi. In a controversy that, far from diminishing, is increasing with each passing day, the incidents between some Girona fans and members of the Jovent Gironí entertainment group at the south goal, moments before the start of the Girona-Celta match ended with four being expelled from the stadium and complaints to the Mossos d’Esquadra. Some unjustifiable facts that cannot be repeated again.
Girona, at this point, is collecting information from all parties and spoke out, sending a forceful and clear message: “We will have to take some measure. It makes no sense for there to be violence against Montilivi,” confirm sources from the club, which issued a statement and does not rule out taking action against the people who generated unpresentable actions.
Let’s put it in context. For a long time now, part of the southern goal behind Jovent Gironí has been angry about the poor visibility they have during games. An aspect that is not the fault of the animation group, but from Girona, which has had time to remedy and relocate them to some other area (both some and others), but has not done so. Definitelythe tension is evident in each game and more than one day, and two, among the fans of the Girona club there have been moments of tension.
None like the one that occurred Friday night. The mosaic that Jovent Gironí prepared, coinciding with the festival of San Narcís, was left with holes by Girona fans, who tore it apart with keys. In a video that circulates on social networks, and that can be seen on the ‘Diari de Girona’ website, you can see the response to beatings of some members of Jovent Gironí. Especially one of them, who is already detected and who reacts by punching a follower hard, seconds before the security agents intervene. The aforementioned person considers that the images do not reflect the real context from which it happened.
Expulsions and complaints
The Mossos d’Esquadra expelled four members of the animation group from the stadium and, in response, they all marched. The thing, however, does not end here, since the people attacked, some of whom with obvious injuries, has filed complaints. Girona cannot remain with its arms crossed.
In the next few hours, the red and white club could announce the sanctions that it will carry out in the face of disturbances that in no case represent the Girona fans.
