Today the 11th stage is scheduled: Viareggio-Castelnovo ne ‘Monti, 186 km, 3850 meters in altitude on the Apennines between the provinces of Lucca, Modena and Reggio Emilia. Meeting in via Coppino in Viareggio at 11.40, departure at 12.05. The three climbs: after 76 km up to Castelnuovo Garfagnana, here are the 3 GPM: Alpe San Pellegrino (1st category, km 93.6), 1623 meters, 13,750 km at 8.8% of average slope with peaks of 19%. Toano (2nd category, km 146.9) with 11.1 km of climb to 4.9% average, at 10%. Bismantova stone (2nd cat., Km 181.1) 5.8 km at 5.8% average, at 10%. The last kilometer in Castelnovo ne ‘Monti is slightly ascent to 4%.
