The well-known journalist and TV presenter has obtained the UEFA B coaching qualification: he can coach up to Serie D or be a technical collaborator in any Serie A team
Now call him “Mister Floris”. And it’s not a form of courtesy for television lounges, where we are used to seeing him keep politicians and commentators of all sorts at bay. He said it and he really did it. Floris – a huge Roma fan – confided a few years ago: “I would like to take the coaching course in Coverciano. One day, when I stop doing my job, I see myself on the bench coaching”. Today, at 56 years old, his dream finally becomes reality: with the UEFA B license the host of On Tuesday in fact, he will be able to undertake a career as a coach and will be able to lead men’s teams up to Serie D, or dedicate himself to women’s or youth football. But not only that. Floris could also aim higher: with the license obtained he could also become a technical collaborator of any professional club, from Serie C to Serie A.
