Los Angeles FC have officially announced the transfer of Giorgio Chiellini. It was reported that as a result of the meeting held in London with the Italian defender in the past weeks, an agreement was reached.
Chiellini, who ended his 17-year Juventus career, will continue his football career in MLS. Los Angeles FC, the former team of Fenerbahce Diego Rossi, also has Mexican star Carlos Vela in its squad.
Saying goodbye to Juventus with the end of the season in Serie A, Chiellini put an end to his Italian National Team career in the match they played against Argentina in the “Finalalissima” jointly organized by UEFA and the South American Football Federation.
The 37-year-old defender, who has played in 116 games for Italy so far, has played for Juventus 561 times since 2005 and recorded 36 goals and 25 assists.
