Foar the devil just scared
You can experience a ghost tour in the vicinity of De Spitkeet in Harkema, under the title Foar the devil just scared . After last year’s great success, Saturday is finally the time to look for ghosts in the dark again. Because who wants to know what’s crawling and sneaking around the park at night?

Discover the museum in the dark
Hundreds of companies and municipalities extinguish building lights and advertising lighting during the Night of the Night. Also in At the MOW in Bellingwolde the lights are turned off but the doors are open. Visitors are welcome from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will find an unlit museum. They explore the exhibition with a flashlight Duuster in which more than 20 artists show work that is as diverse as the night itself.
Drinks are enjoyed by candlelight, with music in the background that focuses on the dark. If the weather permits, this is the opportunity to go stargazing in the pavilion on the outside area. Architect Chris Adriaan designed the outdoor room with open ceiling especially for the MOW.
Exciting ghost tour full of horrors and creeps
There is an exciting ghost tour in Eastermar on Saturday. All kinds of ghosts, horrors and other scary figures can be found on a route of approximately five kilometers through and around Eastermar.

Forest walk with the Night Watchman
Want to take a walk in the woods in the dark with the Night Watchman? This is possible on Saturday as part of the Night of the Night. The Night Watcher lives in the forest, but never appears during the day. He knows the secrets and details of the night like no other. He likes to tell children and adults about the life of animals and plants in the forest.
The Night Watcher teaches young and old to experience the night by smelling, tasting, hearing and seeing. You will meet the Night Watcher in the Natuurschoonbos in Nietap. The walk starts at 7 p.m. from the parking lot at the Natuurschoonbos on Vagevuurselaan.
Dark journey in the Night of the Night
The national Night of the Night is celebrated on Saturday. This night activity can also be experienced at Buitencentrum Drents-Friese Wold. A dark tour through Drents-Friese Wold National Park starts at 7 p.m.
The tour is for young and old. Join the walk with a guide from Staatsbosbeheer through the Drents-Friese Wold. Darkness and silence are characteristic of this vast area, an excellent location to highlight this annual event. In the dark, experience how your senses work slightly differently.
Horror festival in Veendam
The horror film is on until Sunday Haunted Mansion can be seen at VanBeresteyn. And that is not the only activity that can be experienced as part of the Horror Festival in Veendam; Friday evening is The Boogeyman and Saturday will be the horror show The Mystery of Villa Phantom played in the theater.
Children from six years old and their (grand)parents are welcome to come and watch Ila van der Pouw’s puppet show. There are also Saturdays listen to horror stories, is there a horror disco and children can have their own scary face painted.
