Ghislaine Maxwell on Thursday appealed her sentence to 20 years in prison for helping the late multimillionaire Jeffrey Epstein abuse girls and young women. She was convicted nine days ago for, among other things, recruiting the victims. The appeal procedure will probably take several months, it is unclear what the arguments are of her lawyers to appeal.
