Getting married soon on the Lowered Leie banks in Kortrijk

The redevelopment resulted in Kortrijk being awarded the prize for the best public space in Flanders and Brussels a few years ago. It is therefore the dream location to perform weddings, according to the city council.

What about bad weather?

Today, the city council is already mimicking the atmosphere of saying yes to the Lowered Leie banks. The weddings will take place on the side of the Broelkaai, always on a Friday afternoon in the months of April to September.

A wedding here costs 130 euros, those who want to get married at the town hall outside the regular hours also pay that much. In case of bad weather, couples can visit the historic town hall anyway.
