The contract of coach Quique Sanchez Flores of Getafe, one of the Spanish La Liga teams, has been extended.
In a written statement from the club, it was reported that the contract with Flores, which was supposed to expire on 30 June, has been extended until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
Flores, who first coached Getafe in the 2004-2005 season, remained in charge of the team for a short time in 2015. Flores, who took part in the Spanish team for the third time on October 6, 2021, replacing Michel Gonzalez, managed to keep Getafe in the Spanish 1st Football League (LaLiga).
