Bruce Springsteen hits the US tour with the E Street Band for the “Land of Hope and Dreams” tour. Unsurprisingly, demand is high. Several cities were sold out, after advance sales started on Friday. Variety reported that online queues of up to 100,000 people were seen.

Political tones and clear messages

The tour also promises to be one of the Boss’s most overtly political. Springsteen has never hesitated to show his stance on the issues that matter to him, but the tour announcement was particularly explicit. The band called it a “defense of America — American democracy, American freedom, our American Constitution and our sacred American dream — all of which are under attack by our would-be king.” The tour poster also contains a reference to the “No Kings” demonstrations.

Springsteen’s choice of Minneapolis to open his tour is also no coincidence and follows the release of the anti-ICE protest anthem “Streets of Minneapolis.” He then plays the West Coast, South, Midwest and East Coast before the tour ends in Washington, DC in May.

How to buy Bruce Springsteen tickets

If you want to buy tickets for the tour, here’s what you should know.

Prices vary significantly depending on the venue. Tickets for Madison Square Garden are mostly only available for resale – with the exception of the most expensive categories. For the first of two dates in Los Angeles, tickets are still available at Ticketmaster starting at $85 in the top tiers. Secondary marketplaces like StubHub, SeatGeek, and VividSeats are another option for sold-out shows or areas.
