Gert Verhulst, the wealthy media entrepreneur from Flanders, has decided to rent out his house to holidaymakers, but that is surprising at Evert Santegoeds. “Why would you?”
The Villa of Gert Verhulst in the Mondaine Saint-Tropez can be reserved for at least a week via all kinds of booking platforms. “Currently you pay around 33,000 euros a week – 5,000 euros more than in 2021. In exchange you can bathe with ten people in luxury (and the swimming pool),” reports the Flemish Dagblad The latest news.
“Why right?!”
It causes misunderstanding with private editor-in-chief Evert Santegoeds. “Well, if you want it even warmer than 35 degrees, then you have to go to Saint-Tropez, there it is 40 degrees and there you can rent a house of 33 thousand euros a week. You have to pay for it,” he says in the podcast Strictly private.
He continues: “It is Gert Verhulst’s house and then I think: why do you do that?
Blacklight
If Evert stood in Gerts Shoes, he would never have allowed it. “Those people are on vacation and who you don’t all let in … then you have to go and see with such a blacklight how your mattress is there. I really don’t understand that.”
He concludes: “It is a lot of money, 120 thousand euros a month, but I think Gert can suffer well to leave that. He better sits there himself.”
