Lisa Tertsch took sixth place as the best German participant at the Triathlon World Cup in Karlsbad.
A week after her first win of the season in the World Cup over the shorter sprint distance, she was a good 40 seconds short of a podium finish after swimming 1.5 kilometers, cycling 40 kilometers and running 10 kilometers.
In addition to Tertsch, Marlene Gomez-Göggel (8th) and Selina Klamt (9th) made it into the top ten over the Olympic distance.
The French Leonie Periault secured the victory.
