German national team player Yannic Seidenberg suspected of a doping violation. He played Finnish coach Toni Söderholm under at the 2019 World Championships.

The German Ice Hockey Association said in the bulletin, that Seidenberg gave an abnormal sample in the doping test. The German anti-doping agency Nada suspended the athlete for the time being on Wednesday.

Nada will decide later, based on more detailed investigations, whether bigger sanctions will follow for the national team champion.

The 38-year-old conkar has played dozens of World Cups for adults, where he has scored 18 points. Seidenberg, who plays forward and Pak, has spent almost his entire career in the German DEL league.

The man has won the German championship three times and Olympic silver once in Pyeongchang in 2018.
