German Finance Minister Christian Lindner called on Sunday to stop using natural gas to generate electricity. His appeal is part of the reduction of gas supplies from Russia. “We must avoid having a power crisis in addition to a gas crisis,” said the liberal minister in Bild am Sonntag. “Natural gas should no longer be used for electricity production.”
