In the center of the German city of Dresden, the police ended a hostage taking in a shopping center on Saturday afternoon. A 40-year-old German first killed his mother (62) and then fled into a shopping center where he took a woman and a child hostage. Police were able to free both victims, who were unharmed. The perpetrator is deceased.
