German jumping team in the grand Nations Cup final

The German show jumpers qualified for the final round of the eight best teams at the Nations Cup final in Barcelona.

With a total of eight penalty points, the team took fifth place after the first round, tied with the teams from the Netherlands and Switzerland. The best result of all 14 teams was achieved by the team from France, in which all four riders remained flawless. Ireland followed in second place with four penalty points, and Belgium and Spain in third place with five penalty points each.

European Champion André Thieme and his mare Chakaria achieved the only clear round for the German team. His teammates Jana Wargers on Limbridge, Janne-Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann on Messi van’t Ruytershof and Christian Kukuk on Mumbai each had to record a down.

For the ninth time in a row, the Nations Cup finals in show jumping will be held in Barcelona. On Sunday, the eight best teams will compete for victory in the grand final.
