Central defender Antonio Rüdiger is apparently about to switch to Serie A. The DFB star from Chelsea should agree with Juve on a long-term cooperation. The Turiners have just suffered a bitter disappointment.
According to information from the Italian sports daily “Gazzetta dello Sport”, Antonio Rüdiger (29) is about to move to Juventus Turin. The German national player from World Cup winners FC Chelsea has therefore agreed with the record champions on a four-year contract.
Rüdiger, who is said to earn 6.5 million euros a year at Juventus, is considered the preferred candidate of coach Massimiliano Allegri. On Wednesday, Juve failed in the Champions League against upcoming Bayern opponents FC Villarreal.
Rudiger has Serie A experience. Born in Berlin, he played for AS Roma between 2015 and 2020 before joining Chelsea. His contract there expires in the summer.
