German eventing team in top form for the CHIO

The German eventing team starts with the best possible line-up at the CHIO in Aachen (June 24th to July 3rd).

The team of the new national coach Peter Thomsen is led by Olympic champion Julia Krajewski and her gold horse Amande de B’Neville.

In addition, there will be three-time Olympic champion Michael Jung with Chipmunk, reigning European champion Ingrid Klimke with Siena Just Do It and former world champion Sandra Auffarth with Viamant du Matz.

From a German point of view, everything that has status and reputation is also represented in show jumping at the Soers.

The list of participants includes Christian Ahlmann with his top horse Dominator, Daniel Deußer with Killer Queen, winner of the Grand Prix of Aachen last year, as well as European Champion Andre Thieme with Chakaria and three-time World Cup winner Marcus Ehning with Stargold.

In dressage, the seven-time Olympic champion Isabell Werth with Quantaz, Benjamin Werndl with Famoso, Frederic Wandres with Duke of Britain and Ingrid Klimke with Franziskus start in the Nations Cup.

The two-time team Olympic champion Dorothee Schneider is resting her top horse Showtime for the World Championships in Herning in August and will start in Aachen with Faustus in the so-called small tour.
