Genoa, Retegui hospitalized after feeling slightly unwell on the flight from Naples

Only a lot of fear for the national team striker, who had suffered a strong blow to the head in a game clash with Ostigard: a CT scan ruled out complications

Genoa and national team striker Mateo Retegui was kept under observation last night at the San Martino hospital following an illness he felt during the return flight from Naples after the drawn match with Mazzarri’s team. “Il Secolo XIX” reported it: the rossoblù player had suffered a strong blow to the head in a game clash with Ostigard at Maradona.

To avoid any risk, immediately after disembarking at Cristoforo Colombo, the attacker was taken to the San Martino emergency room and subjected to a brain CT scan which gave a negative result. However, Retegui will spend the night under observation and presumably will be discharged tomorrow morning.
