Actor Tyler Christopher50, has died, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

Actor Maurice Benard tells on Instagram Christopher died Tuesday morning at his home in San Diego of a heart attack.

Christopher, real name Tyler Christopher Bakerwe especially remember the recommendation General Hospital – from the soap opera where he played Nikolas Cassadine.

In 2004–2005, Christopher was also seen in the same series in the role of Connor Bishop.

– It is with great sadness that we share the news of Tyler Christopher’s death. Tyler was a truly talented individual who lit up the screen in every scene he played. She was a sweet soul and a wonderful friend to all who knew her.

Benard credits Christopher’s struggles with bipolar disorder and alcohol. Christopher spoke for better mental health and substance abuse treatment.

– We are deeply shocked by the loss of our dear friend and we pray for his children and father, Benard writes.

Tyler Christopher was the part General Hospital cast members in 1996–1999, 2003–2011 and 2013–2016. He was awarded for his role with, among others, the Daytime Emmy and Soap Opera Digest awards.

From 2017 to 2019, he portrayed Stefan DiMera Days taken in the series.

During his career, Christopher also guest starred in many other television shows.

Christopher was married between 2002 and 2004 Perfect women -pace Eva Longoria with and sports reporter Brienne Pedigo with in the years 2008–2021. Two children were born from the latter union.
