General and ‘hero of Russia’ who had to deliver the trophy to Putin in Donbas hasn’t been seen for two weeks

The general who was appointed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in early April to put things in order in Ukraine after the disappointing military results in and around Kiev, has not been seen for two weeks, according to senior Pentagon officers. Aleksander Dvornikov (60) was supposed to give the Kremlin a trophy by conquering the eastern region of the Donbas – preferably before the Victory Day on May 9 – but he has not yet succeeded.
