Gene Simmons answers the question about a Kiss reunion at an alternative Super Bowl halftime show with a clear message: It’s a question of money.
Gene Simmons and his Kiss bandmates were honored by US President Donald Trump at the Kennedy Center Honors. In addition to him, there were awards for Sylvester Stallone and Gloria Gaynor. On the red carpet at the big event, reporters finally asked Simmons about a possible Super Bowl appearance. His reaction spoke volumes.
Kiss at the “All-American Halftime Show”?
Specifically, it was about the “All-American Halftime Show”. This is an alternative to the actual Super Bowl Halftime Show, where Bad Bunny will again appear. The alternative show organized by the right-wing political camp in the USA is controversial. Who gives up for that? Who wants to sympathize here? And is it possible for Kiss to reunite to perform at this very event?
Really a question of money?
The bassist quickly got to the point, simply answering questioners on the red carpet: “How much?” When an interviewer answered that this was probably “negotiable,” the 76-year-old simply replied: “Who says?”
Gene Simmons concluded the interview by saying, “It’s more than you could ever make in your life,” probably referring to his salary for such a gig.

But Simmons generally didn’t seem to have taken the question seriously. An appearance on the show alternative is therefore unlikely.
