ROma, 27 Feb. (askanews) – increasingly disturbing details emerge around the death of the legend of Hollywood Gene Hackman, 95 years old, and his wife Betsy Arakawa, 63, found lifeless in their home in Santa Fe in New Mexico; Now there is talk of a “suspicion” death, according to a search mandate of the home obtained from the entertainment newspaper TMZ. The door of the house was open, the Arakawa body in a bathroom had signs of decomposition and around her there were medicines. The body of Gene Hackman, on the other hand, was close to the kitchen on the ground. One of the couple’s three dogs had died in the bathroom, the other two still alive.

According to the first news, the Sheriff of County Adan Mendoza had said that there were no clues that made one think of an unnatural death. Hackman’s daughter, Elizabeth Jean, had talked about the hypothesis of carbon monoxide poisoning.

Gene Hackman, twice Oscar winner, and the classic Betsy Arakawa pianist were married since 1991 and had lived in Santa Fe since then.
