Gaziantep FK-Fenerbahçe match could not start on time! Here’s why

Fenerbahçe arrived in the city to face Gaziantep FK away in the 4th week of Ziraat Turkish Cup Group C. The players and technical staff came to the stadium after leaving the hotel. Players from both teams went to the dressing room after warming up on the field, but there was a lighting problem in the stadium. Stadium officials and referees inspected the field together with the players. The referee of the match postponed the match to a later time to fix the problem. After the lighting problem in the stadium was resolved, the match started 1 hour after the set start time.
