Valencia, one of the Spanish La Liga clubs, has sacked Italian coach Gennaro Gattuso.
In the statement made by the club, it was reported that after a mutual agreement, coach Gattuso was dismissed, and coach Salvador Gonzalez, who has coached the infrastructure teams so far, will start training at the head of the team starting tomorrow.
Gattuso signed a two-year contract with Valencia on June 9, 2022.
Valencia, which had a bad season in La Liga and failed to win for the last three weeks and was eliminated by Athletic Bilbao despite playing at home in the King’s Cup quarter-finals, is 14th in the league with 20 points.
Turkish football player Cenk Özkaçar also plays in Valencia.
