Gang rape at Ballermann? Now the German authorities are investigating

In the case of the gang rape in Mallorca, the German judiciary is now also investigating!

Since last Thursday, six German holidaymakers (21 to 23 years old) have been in police custody, and on Saturday a judge sent five of them into custody.

The suspicion: Samy, Mert, Tolga, Herald and another friend are said to have raped a young German (18) in a hotel room at Ballermann.

According to BILD information, the German criminal authorities are now also dealing with the case. The public prosecutor’s office in Hagen has initiated an investigation. Attorney General Dr. Pauli: “We are following the news and have now contacted the Spanish authorities. So far we have not received an answer to our request.”

According to the authorities in the European Union, the suspects do not have to reckon with double punishment.

Witness testifies with German authorities

In addition, a witness has reported to the German authorities. According to BILD information, the man sat next to the five friends in police custody for twelve hours after beating his wife on Ballermann beach.

He claims to have heard the suspects’ conversations. They are said to have been distressed and very surprised at the situation. The cell neighbor is said to have reported to the German consulate afterwards.

The spokesman for the Hagen public prosecutor’s office confirmed that the man also made statements in Germany: “I will not comment on the content of the statement.” The content is now to be sent to Spain.

The parents of the suspects have found lawyers for their sons and can visit their children in custody until Sunday. BILD learned that they now want to fly to Mallorca.
